Peranakan Tea Table, Swanci Set

The Peranakan Tea Table, also known as the Swanci Table, is a cultural heritage of the Chinese that highlights the tea-drinking tradition. Nowadays, this table set is more commonly used as a Tea Pai in Chinese descendant weddings, where both bride and groom offer tea to seek blessings and prayers from their parents and ancestors.
