Wayang Raden Sombo
Rp2.750.000
Raden Sombo, also known as Wisnu Broto, is a character from the Javanese wayang tradition and one of the sons of Kresna, the king of Dwarawati. Unlike many prominent figures in the original Indian Mahabharata, Raden Sombo primarily appears in Javanese adaptations and local wayang stories developed by generations of Indonesian puppeteers and storytellers. His character reflects the creative way Indonesian culture expanded and reinterpreted the Mahabharata tradition, adding new narratives and personalities to the epic world of wayang. According to Javanese tradition, Raden Sombo is the elder brother of Arya Gunadewa and a member of the Yadawa clan, the royal lineage of Kresna.
