Angklung Naga

Rp1.250.000

Angklung is a traditional musical instrument that originated from the Sundanese people of West Java. Classified as an idiophone, it is primarily made from bamboo and produces sound through a shaking motion, which causes the suspended bamboo tubes to vibrate and resonate a specific tone. Each angklung consists of two to four bamboo tubes attached to a bamboo frame, with each tube finely tuned to produce a distinct musical note. This particular piece is uniquely designed in the shape of a dragon (Naga), a mythical creature symbolizing protection, power, and prosperity. In Javanese and Balinese traditions, the Naga holds deep spiritual significance and is often linked to nature, ancestral spirits, and ceremonial practices. The combination of Sundanese musical craftsmanship and mythological symbolism reflects the rich cultural fusion in Indonesian art and heritage.
