The Oriental Crane, meticulously crafted by Batik Artisans from Lasem, Central Java. The intricate combination of Lasem’s distinct blue and red tones against a white canvas showcases the pinnacle of complexity in the art of batik. The intricate design, executed with the smallest canting, required six months of dedicated craftsmanship. The crane symbolizes gentleness, grace, patience, and a resilient spirit. In Chinese culture, the crane is a representation of longevity, believed to live up to 1,000 years.
