Batak Calendar

Batik Calendar isn’t an artifact but a reflection of knowledge to prepare for Batak culture ceremony and to increase awareness of natural phenomena, astrology, the motion of the sun, and the journey of the moon around the earth. The main purpose of this calendar is to predict auspicious days for several activities such as seeding time, harvest time, wedding day, building a house, entering a new house, traveling, fighting, etc.
