Batik Tiga Negeri Tjoa

Tjoa Giok Tjiam is a well-known maker of Batik Tiga Negeri. Batik Tjoa had been in business in Solo since 1910, but due to the difficulty in finding qualified and quality batik craftsmen, the third generation stopped producing in 2014. The dyeing process for this batik has been estimated to take up to three months. A sheet of Batik Tiga Negeri is brimming with value of diversity and tolerance. The variety of patterns depicts the hope of goodness, beauty, and the multicultural nature of the archipelago.
