Buddha in Ardha Padmāsana sculpture depicts the Buddha seated in the half-lotus position, where one leg is folded beneath the body while the other rests on the opposite thigh. The Buddha’s hands form Vitarka Mudra, where the tips of the thumb and middle finger touch, creating a circle that symbolizes perfection, completeness, and the continuous cycle of Dharma. The circular halo behind the head reinforces the sacred nature of the figure, representing spiritual enlightenment. The cone attached beneath the figure suggests that it was designed to be mounted or fixed onto a surface, possibly for ritual or decorative purposes.
