Colorful Stripe Manu Weaving

In Sumbanese, a Rooster is known as Manu. Because the rooster always crows before morning, waking people awake, this theme is a sign of awareness. It’s also a protective leader and a sign of manliness and life. The rooster eating the worm symbolizes a man who is the leader of a household and is responsible for providing for his family’s needs.
