Decorative Sarune

The Sarune, a wind instrument used by the Batak Toba and Batak Karo tribes, is closely related to the Serunai. As a key melodic component in ensembles, the Sarune is classified as an aerophone, an instrument that produces sound through air vibrations. The Batak people traditionally play the Sarune during special occasions like ceremonies, weddings, and funerals.
