Flower Vase Torajan Wooden Carving

Rp1.100.000

This carved wooden panel reimagines traditional Toraja motifs into the form of a floral bouquet. The composition features stylized blossoms, resembling local flowers emerging from a base adorned with Pa’barana’ and Pa’tedong-inspired motifs. The geometric background patterns, Pa’ Kadang Pao,which is the hooked pole Toraja people use to pick mangoes. A hook alone cannot harvest fruit—only when guided by human hands does it yield. By combining sacred ornamentation with natural forms, the work expresses the harmony between nature, spirituality, and Toraja artistic heritage.
