Kediri Ganesha Stone Sculpture

Ganesha, the Hindu god of wisdom and remover of obstacles, is shown seated in a relaxed posture known as lalitasana, with one leg folded and the other gently extended. This pose reflects his approachable and compassionate nature. One of his hands rests on his large belly, symbolizing contentment, abundance, and the ability to digest both the joys and challenges of life. Beside him sits a rat, his trusted vehicle, which represents his power to reach even the smallest and most hidden places, offering guidance and aid to all in need, just as a rat can navigate any corner of the world.
