“Topeng Pentul” originates from Ponorogo and is a traditional Indonesian mask known for its chubby, round-faced design, commonly featured in cultural performances and rituals. Paired with the black “Tembem” mask, the white “Pentul” mask is partially open at the bottom, allowing the dancer’s mouth to be visible. This mask is prevalent in various art forms across regions, including Jathilan performances in Yogyakarta, Central Java, and Barongan in Kudus.
