Simple Floral Wayang Blawong

Rp1.250.000

Blawong derives from the words “blabak,” meaning wooden board or place, and “dhuwung,” referring to the keris (a traditional Indonesian dagger). Therefore, “blawong” refers to a place where a keris is displayed on the wall. This blawong is adorned with intricate carvings of wayang (shadow puppet) figures, depicting a story between Bima and Dewa Ruci. In these carvings, Dewa Ruci is portrayed as Bima’s true teacher, revered above all, and thus speaks only the highest truths to him.
