Naga Morsarang is a traditional medicine container and calendar crafted with intricate cultural symbolism. Typically made from a hollowed horn engraved with a detailed calendar, it was used to store medicinal herbs and substances. The horn is adorned with a wooden carving of the Naga Morsarang, a mythical creature in Batak culture. This object also served as a tool for organizing agricultural and ritual activities, and its engravings and figures were believed to protect the contents while enhancing the shaman’s healing powers.
