Tiger Mask (Topeng Macan)

Tiger Mask is part of the Balinese Barong dance which is normally performed at the start of a story that contains the contents of the universe. Followed by the Legong dance as a representation of human beauty. Then there’s Rangda’s role as a symbol of evil. Finally, Barong arrived as an evil spirit exorcist. As a result, the Balinese Barong dance is believed to be a dance intended to ward off diseases caused by evil spirits that interfere with humans and the universe.
