Eklek functions as a holder or container for carrying a sickle, which is attached to the waist. It earns its name “eklek” from the rhythmic “eklek-eklek-eklek” sound it makes when in use, particularly while walking. This implement is commonly employed by farmers and livestock keepers in the regions of Java, Bali, and Madura.
