Wuramon – The Spirit Boat of Asmat tribe

The Asmat tribe still upholds the traditions and core values of their ancestors. The spirit boat, also known as Wuramon, is one of the carvings that is frequently done. They believe that the carving represents a spirit boat that their ancestors can use in the afterlife.
