Pair of Thin Line Parang

Batik Parang, often known as “pereng”, is a Javanese word for a rock cliff or slope. This design is shaped diagonally from high to low. The pattern symbolizes agility and vigilance, while the diagonal line symbolizes ideals, respect and loyalty to the right values. This discontinuous arrangement of patterns represent the idea that life must be continuous or dynamic in order to be lived.
