Truntum Garuda is usually worn by the parents of the bride and groom on the wedding day as a role model for the couple. The trunrum motif itself refers to a love that grows back and represents true, unwavering, eternal love as well as a love that grows stronger with time. While the garuda motif denotes strength and mighty which is usually only worn by kings.
