TAKALA features carvings based on Flores crocodile folklore, depicting the story of an old man who hid his tail in shame until he transformed into a crocodile and confided in his son through a dream. Despite aiding humans during floods and forming a bond, tensions arose when humans deceived him, leading to strained relations between the two species.
